The Houston Business Journal has selected its honorees for this year’s Most Admired CEO Awards, among them Alexander JFS CEO, Carl E. Josehart.
Josehart was selected for his visionary leadership, commitment to innovation, and dedication to strengthening communities across Greater Houston. Under his leadership, Alexander JFS has expanded its reach through strategic partnerships that bring critical services directly into underserved communities, increasing access to mental health care, social services, disability support, and employment resources. Carl's data-driven approach to decision-making, focus on measurable outcomes, and commitment to responsible stewardship have helped position Alexander JFS as a trusted leader in the nonprofit sector. Beyond organizational success, he is widely respected for fostering a workplace culture rooted in compassion, collaboration, and employee well-being, while remaining deeply engaged in Houston's civic and nonprofit communities.
The honorees were chosen by members of the HBJ staff for their career achievements and leadership skills. In addition to their professional roles, they also demonstrate a dedication to the community through their service on nonprofit boards and various volunteer roles.
These CEOs lead companies, nonprofits and institutions across several industries, ranging from energy, real estate and finance to hospitality, health care, education and more.
In honor of this recognition, Carl has requested that donations be designated to the Employee Professional Development Fund.
