Diverse Family holding "light" "Hope" signs

Family to Family

Planting the seeds of family philanthropy.

Alexander Jewish Family Service's Family to Family Program gives your family the opportunity to discuss your collective values, the importance of giving, and your personal connections to Alexander JFS.

Whether through a planned activity, tour of the agency, or a virtual gathering, your family can go on a journey of discovery.  We offer creative opportunities for families to learn more about the human face of the community, engage in mitzvah projects, connect across generations and identify your personal passions for tikun olam, repairing the world.

Family Tours

Tour Alexander JFS’s Celebration Company and experience the joy and purpose of this innovative employment program for adults with disabilities. Add a family activity to your tour to make your visit even more memorable.

Virtual Gatherings

Join a carefully crafted one-hour virtual call with grandparents, parents, children and/or grandchildren. In the session, we will introduce the generations to agency leadership.  With this shared experience, your family members can become even closer, no matter the distance between your homes.

Family Activities

Choose a family mitzvah project-- compile client necessity bags, adopt a holiday, put together hurricane kits, create greeting cards and Shabbat boxes, help Celebration Company with product production, run a client pantry drive or design a unique family volunteer project.

"Every year our volunteers make over 600 greeting cards that we deliver to seniors isolated in local senior living facilities. These cards bring joy and warmth to all who receive them."
