With the start of summer comes excitement, vacations, heat and, of course in Texas, hurricane season. Even though life can get busy, now is the time to check your hurricane preparedness kit. It is time to add items to it. Each week as you do your shopping, add one or two things to your kit. You are doing yourself a favor and avoiding the mad rush that happens when our local weather station announces severe weather is coming.
