Established in 1987 to provide ongoing resources to strengthen families in the Jewish community of Houston, Texas.
Jewish tradition teaches that one of our key responsibilities is to make the world a better place for our children and grandchildren. Our parents and grandparents built this Jewish community. That is their legacy. Securing its future financial strength will continue their legacy for generations to come.
The Houston Jewish Family Foundation (HJFF) was established in 1987 to provide ongoing resources to strengthen families in the Jewish community of Houston, Texas, through counseling and social services.
Each year this foundation provides vital resources for counseling, seniors, services for individuals with disabilities, employment programs, outreach and hospital visitation.
All funds under the auspices of HJFF are held at the Houston Jewish Community Foundation. An independent Board of Directors is responsible for securing additional resources and disbursing funds to further its mission.
Houston Jewish Family Foundation is grateful to the leaders and staff who ensure we fulfill our mission.
Houston Jewish Family Foundation maintains fiscal responsibility through accounting best practices, audits and oversight by the Board of Directors. Any questions or requests for documentation should be directed to Tammy Hopwood, CFO, firstname.lastname@example.org or (713) 667-9336.
