Until deemed appropriate to reopen the building, Alexander JFS will only serve clients via our HIPAA compliant online provider (Zoom) or by phone. In the meantime, Alexander JFS will continue to provide a warm blend of safety net, case management and behavioral and mental health services to support individuals in the community to provide the resources they need.


Each service department at the agency has staff members on-call.

  • Our Behavioral & Mental Health Services Team is providing Telehealth through phone calls and video conferencing. If you are an existing client, you can make an appointment by reaching out to your counselor. If you aren't a current client, REQUEST SERVICE now or call (713) 986-7832. Should you need more immediate attention, please call 9-1-1 or Crisis Hotline (832) 416-1177.
  • We are also currently offering FREE internet support sessions via our HIPAA compliant Zoom Conference Calls account Monday through Friday. These one-hour support sessions are designed to provide a safe and supportive virtual environment for participants to connect, learn, comfort, support and socialize to promote our psychological health during this stressful time. All sessions are being facilitated by a rotation of licensed clinicians or master's level clinical intern students under supervision. Registration is required to participate in a session and each session will close access 15 minutes after the start time. REGISTER NOW
  • If you are a parent stressing over your child's education and/or behavior and are interested in 2 FREE sessions with a therapist, REQUEST SERVICE now. We are also interested in knowing what support you feel that your child needs this fall through our 6 question survey NOW.
