The Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities has been working diligently with the Houston Health Department and other city partners to stand up targeted vaccination opportunities for Houstonians with disabilities. These opportunities are in addition to those that have already been made available to the general public. Currently, vaccination opportunities are only open to Houstonians with disabilities who meet the 1B criteria for vaccination under the Texas Department of State Health Services. I

To schedule a vaccination appointment, people with disabilities must call the Care Connection Aging and Disability Resource Center at 855-937-2372.

Please follow the following instructions when calling:
• Press 1 for English or 2 for Spanish
• Press 1 to indicate you need help (this prompt will talk about needing help living at home, etc.)
• Enter your zip code
• Stay on the line for English or Press 2 for Spanish
• This will transfer you to an agent and if all lines are busy you will be prompted to leave a message
When calling the ADRC, please remember:
• Lines maybe busy due to high call volumes
• Please leave a message with your name and telephone number, staff will return your call
• You do not need to call back repeatedly, this will not change the outcome and only saturates the ADRC phonelines
